The 6-Session Method

Care programme

Does everything feel like too much right now?

Care is about feeling better soon. We work on the present: relief, practical tools and getting your balance back in 6 sessions.

This is for you if…

  • Anxiety or stress stops you sleeping, concentrating or enjoying life.
  • You live on high alert and the smallest thing can tip you over the edge.
  • You are going through a hard time: a loss, a break-up, a big change or trouble at work.
  • You have no energy and everyday things feel hard.
  • You need practical tools, now, for daily life.

  1. Session 1

    Map and relief

You understand what is happening and what keeps it going, and you leave with tools to bring the intensity down from day one.

  2. Session 2

    Goals and plan

We define what you want to achieve and how we will measure it. We start rebuilding the routines that keep you steady.

  3. Session 3

    Emotional regulation

You practise techniques to manage anxiety, stress and the thoughts that trap you: breathing, mindfulness and cognitive restructuring.

  4. Session 4

    Tools for everyday life

We take what you have learned into real situations: work, home, relationships. Step by step, you face what you had been avoiding.

  5. Session 5

    Consolidation

We review what is already working and strengthen your autonomy to handle difficult moments.

  6. Session 6

    Closure and prevention

We prepare your personal manual and a plan to spot and stop any relapse in time.

  7. Follow-up

    One month after we finish

One session to consolidate what you have achieved, see how you are using your manual and adjust whatever is needed.

What we work towards

  • Understanding what is happening and why, without guilt.
  • Tools you can use at any moment.
  • Lowering anxiety and feeling more in control of your day.
  • A plan to prevent relapse.

Want to get to the bottom of it?

Once your balance is back, you can continue with the Roots programme to understand where it comes from and change it at the root.

Frequently asked questions

What if I need more or fewer than 6 sessions?

The 6 sessions are an honest guide, not a fixed package. If you feel well sooner, we finish sooner. If you need more, we assess it in session 5 and continue with a clear plan.

What if I am going through a period of intense anxiety?

Care starts precisely by stabilising things. If right now you feel you cannot cope or your life is at risk, call 112 or 024 first.

How is it different from Roots?

Care focuses on the present and on relief. Roots goes to the source of recurring patterns. They can be combined.

Can it be done online?

Yes, by video call, in English, Spanish or French, with the same material between sessions.

What do I do between sessions?

You take away short exercises, audio or readings to practise at home. The next session starts by reviewing how it went.

How much does it cost?

Each session costs the same as an individual therapy session at the Centre, and you only pay for the sessions you have. You will find it on the fees page.

Is it an emergency? If your life or someone else’s is in danger, call 112. If you are having suicidal thoughts, Spain’s 024 helpline is free and open 24 hours a day.
